Sohosquare Solutions is actively seeking a talented and driven Hadoop Data Engineer to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. If you have hands-on experience with Cloudera CDP, HDFS, Hive, Impala, and Unix shell scripting — we want to hear from you!
📍 Location: Alpharetta, GA
🔒 Note: Local candidates only (onsite or hybrid depending on client need)
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Design, set up, and maintain Hadoop clusters from the ground up
- Manage cluster performance, replication, and scaling
- Implement and monitor security configurations and encryption protocols
- Perform Cloudera CDP upgrades and manage user access
- Develop and optimize Unix shell scripts for automation and maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot data and performance issues within the Hadoop ecosystem
🧠 Required Skills:
- Proven experience with Cloudera CDP
- Proficient in HDFS, Hive, and Impala
- Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting skills
- Experience in managing secure and scalable Hadoop environments
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of data infrastructure
