About the Role:
The .NET Developer II will design, develop, test, and enhance software applications, primarily supporting the Finance Technology team. This role involves providing technical support, analyzing data processing systems, and collaborating with business and operations teams to achieve technical business objectives. The developer will also document processes, resolve errors, and ensure smooth application functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test software applications for the Finance Technology team.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve processes.
- Collaborate with business units and operations teams to meet their technical needs.
- Design effective solutions and work with other developers to implement them.
- Document testing processes, error resolutions, and software development activities.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, including being on call if needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience in application software programming, OR
- High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of experience in application software programming.
- Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET, SQL, SSIS/SSDT, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with programming languages like JavaScript, HTML5, XML, and SQL Scripting.
- Familiarity with ETL packages using SSIS and IT service ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of system development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
