Job Summary
TELUS Digital is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team of digital innovators. The role involves working on creative and disruptive projects, collaborating in a multicultural environment, and contributing to global digital solutions that transform the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Gather requirements, design solutions, and plan project phases.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts.
- Design, document, develop, test, and maintain applications.
Required Skills & Experience
- Programming Expertise:
- 5+ years with Java and/or JavaScript (mandatory).
- 3+ years designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot/Spring MVC and/or Node.js (mandatory).
- Technologies & Tools:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (Cassandra/MongoDB).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Harness, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Other Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
