🔍 Job Description:
We are actively seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in Azure Functions to join our client project on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing and building cloud-native applications using Java and Microsoft Azure services.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy robust Java applications with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Build and maintain Azure Functions to handle serverless workloads.
- Develop and consume REST APIs as part of a microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues as needed.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
🛠️ Required Skills:
- 8+ years of Java backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Functions (Durable Functions is a plus).
- Experience with cloud-native application development on Azure.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices design patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
🌐 Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure services like Event Grid, Service Bus, or Cosmos DB.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot or Quarkus.
- Prior experience with performance tuning in cloud environments.
