Job Summary

The .NET Developer will design, develop, and support the software development lifecycle for child support systems. This position requires hands-on experience with .NET and related technologies to deliver high-quality enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and high-quality enterprise application delivery.
  2. Plan and estimate development work for assigned tasks.
  3. Transform requirements into maintainable enterprise-level solutions.
  4. Perform detailed application design and document system changes.
  5. Lead team members to deliver systems on schedule.
  6. Coordinate and resolve production issues effectively.
  7. Conduct unit and integration testing on written code.
  8. Participate in JAD sessions to understand and design solutions.
  9. Analyze system problems and provide impact analysis for upgrades/enhancements.
  10. Support system and acceptance testers by troubleshooting issues.
  11. Report issues and status updates to management.
  12. Ensure compliance with coding standards and SDLC processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years hands-on .NET experience.
    • Foundational knowledge of jQuery, JSON, AJAX, and MVC 4.0 Framework.
    • SQL Server 2008/2012: Design, development of Stored Procedures, Triggers, User Defined Functions.
    • Proficient in ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C#, Visual Studio 2010/2013.
    • Experience with HTML5, XML, XSLT, CSS, WEB API, and Web Services.
    • Object-Oriented Methodologies, Design, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
    • .NET 8, CQRS, EF Core, Dapper, Microservices, Event-driven architecture.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Agile experience or training.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of SDLC processes.
  • Expertise in configuration management tools, environment setup, and migration activities.
  • Ability to work effectively with production support teams.
