About the Role

Omnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, providing care to people in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities. Omnicare pharmacies are not open to the public. As a Back-End Pharmacy Technician, you will work to ensure medication needs and regulatory standards are met. The anticipated weekly hours are 40.

Key Responsibilities

• Rotate through and work in various assigned pharmacy workstations, including Packaging and Staging
• Receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, and rotate stock
• Perform physical inventories of medication

Requirements

Required qualifications: certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law, and one (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience. Education: a verifiable High School Diploma or GED. Preferred qualifications: prior experience in the long-term care industry; prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting; PTCB National Certification; and five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.

Pay: The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 – $26.21, as listed by CVS Health.
