About the Role
The Handler Warehouse role is responsible for the movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support in a timely, safe and efficient manner through effective scan/load methods. This is a non-driving position; the duties do not include driving on public roadways. It is a non-covered safety sensitive position that requires constant alertness.
Key Responsibilities
- Move packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supplies in a timely, safe and efficient manner
- Use effective scan and load methods to process freight
- Lift packages weighing 50 lbs without assistance, from the ground to a position at or above the chest
- Maneuver packages weighing above 50 lbs with the use of appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
- Walk, stand, bend and squat while handling freight, and climb stairs and ladders as needed
- Work in all weather conditions and communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment
Requirements
